Group or Organizational Communication
Group or Organization Communication refers to your encounters within a group of individuals such as at the work place, in a classroom, in your campus organization or clubs. What situations (positive or problematic) do you often encounter at the workplace or in a group setting that make you reflect on the dynamics of people's interactions within the group or organization? Within these situations or dynamics, what communication theories you have learned this week (Week 3) can help explain why such experiences are encountered by individuals within the group or organization? To enhance understanding of some major Organizational Theories, I am supplementing our Theory Clusters resource at the University of Twente with the example-laden chapters from West and Turner (2010) in this attached file below:
